It's true! The City of Grand Rapids has purchased In The Image's building for a new Fire Station, and we've moved into a new storefront to better serve the community!

We promise to deliver the same mission - we will strive to provide hope, dignity, and respect through the best shopping experience money does not have to buy.

From the humble beginnings of a wet, dingy basement to a warehouse and storefront with possibilities, YOU have helped pave the way for In The Image to strive for a welcoming environment to provide the basics in life to those in need.

The crumbling building In The Image calls home does not invite community members to ask for help through our services, volunteer or provide donated goods with a feeling of safety. The current structure does not allow In The Image to expand its services to meet new challenges brought on by the current crises. A newer, more efficient building is necessary for In The Image to succeed and serve this community and we are so excited to make the move!

In The Image has been serving the community for almost 30 years - THANK YOU for taking part in impacting thousands of individuals and families in our community!

Building Hope

As we start this new chapter, there is still more work to be done. Our Capital Campaign goal is $120,000 to ensure that we're able to finish our building renovation, and we've raised $52,500 to date.

Please consider a meaningful gift - every dollar will help provide hope, dignity, and respect while improving and strengthening our impact on the community.

Together, we can build hope, through new programs and a new space - ensuring everyone in need of clothing and household necessities shops for free in a welcoming environment.
